All about me
This is yet another pointless post to my pointless WP site.
Better create an ads.txt file for my WP site!
Is there a WordPress plugin for Facebook Audience Network (FAN)? If I want to add FAN ads to my WordPress site, how easy is it to do this? Is there a plug-in available? Research continues!
So annoying you can’t use custom javascript with a personal plan 😦
Well that was fun! I created http://www.sandstories.co.uk for a friend. Overall, I am somewhat impressed with WordPress, but I would have liked a bit more control over some of the spacing and font sizes without having to resort to editing the HTML. But it was good practice I guess.
I have another WP project to work on – looking forward to setting up a new site for a friend.
That is all 🙂
I’ve resurrected my WordPress site to start investigating how bloggers use AdSense to monetise their sites ahead of my new PM role on the Ads team at Google. I’ve learned a couple of things – firstly, site owners need to have their approved by Google. Rule of thumb suggest that your site needs to look professional and have at least 10-15 good quality blog posts before Google will approve you. The second thing I have learned is that the AdSense plugin for WordPress is only available to business users and not personal users. So WordPress may not be the ideal test bed. Anyway, investigations continue.
